ממלכת הילדים, מלון המלך שלמה, אילת 15:22

simon by you.

Name: Simon

Age: 36

Occupation: Finance Director

Place of residence: Oslo

> What are you doing in Israel?
"Holidaying with my family in Eilat".

> Weren't you afraid to come because of the situation?
"Not really. We knew the situation was confined to Gaza and we would not be close to there".

> Which book are you reading?
"The Shack".

> What do you think about it?
"I was quite disappointed. I had been given it as a present by someone who had read it and had found it to be a very powerful and thought provoking book. It did not quite have the same effect on me".

> Who is your favorite writer?

" I don't have one".

> Which is your favorite book?

" I honestly don't have one. Although I am sure that after I have sent the email I will suddenly think of one!".

> How many books do you usually read in a month?

" Unfortunately less than one a month at the moment. I think I am lucky if I read 3 books a year. I find that with 2 young children and a busy job that there is not enough time for books".

> Do you usually take a book with you?

" Why? I only find time to read whilst travelling or on holiday so I usually take a book with me when I am away from home".

> Is there a book that you haven't read and you feel ashamed about it?

" The works of Shakespeare".

> Why have you chosen to read here?
"My daughter was playing and the baby sleeping in the pushchair so I thought I would have enough time to try to read the last few pages of the book.

> What is your opinion about Israeli literature?
"I don't know any Israeli literature so cannot give an opinion".

 > Can you give us a favorite quote?

my favourite quote is actually from a film, and it's not even from a good film!! The Film is Under Siege 2 (a not partcularly good Steven Seagal film) and the quote is a line from the main bad guy : "Assumption is the mother of all f*ck-ups". Not a particularly inspiring quote but one that I have found to be very very true!

> Thank you very much

סחתיין. מעניין למה הוא לא קרא את שייקספיר – כנראה שלא הכריחו אותם בבית הספר, כמו שהכריחו אותנו 🙂
